Hi, my name is Andre and I’m from Brazil.I was reading a text my friend posted on his blog and decided to click “Next Blog” to see what would come. So that’s how I discovered yours. I like to make compliments about whatever is good in other people. It doesn’t hurt being nice and it also helps them to get better and keep the good work. So, that’s what I’m doing here today. On your post from Monday, december 14, 2009, the 4th picture, on which there are just dry branches of trees and a sky, reminded me of Gone with the wind, because of the artificial ochre atmosphere the film has. Nice picture. On Friday, December 18, 2009, there’s a post entitled "the colours come out (although not very well reproduced here)”. I liked the essay, a same subject, that is, snow on a forest. But I also felt like staring at a wall from which someone has taken some stripes of wallpaper. The brown trees being the pure, naked wall, the snow being the white wallpaper. Best pictures are the 4th and 7th.There’s also this one that reminds me of another movie: Grey Gardens. Two rich women, mother and daughter, living in a completely dirty mansion full of plants all around it. That’s the 7th picture from Friday, March 5, 2010. The post is named " this town has the same colours, Always. " The 8th picture of this same post is also interesting because you could capture diagonal lines: from the shape of the roof of the house, the shape of the trees, the energy cables, the smoke of the plane high above. And finally, my favorite one:Sunday, December 28, 2008, "family". The 3rd picture taken at your grandmas. Simple horizontal and vertical lines, variations of the same peaceful colour, like a degrade of beige, and the white stuff on the background begging to be seen as most important part of the picture.Keep up the good work. Bye!
Thank you :)
